The purpose of this organization shall be:
1. To encourage college students
to continue their participation in 4-H activities.
2. To establish and aid existing
lines of communication in the Texas
4-H and Youth program by:
A. Promoting relationships among 4-H
members, leaders and 4-H youth staff.
B. Explaining and exemplifying 4-H
objectives with outside groups (i.e., businessmen, etc.), the general public and especially the Texas
A&M University community.
3. To enrich the Texas
4-H Youth program by:
A. Serving as responsible advisors,
counselors (i.e., at state center, etc.) and resource people for any 4-H activity, event or other learning experience (i.e.,
Round-up, etc.)
B. Initiating and pursuing educational
functions for interested youth.
C. Reviewing and reacting to 4-H program
ideas and supportive materials (i.e., judge record books, etc.)
4. To facilitate closer relationships
among college students who have been, are, or shall be associated with 4-H in any manner.
5. To plan and conduct fellowship
and social events for students with common interests.
6. To assist 4-H and other youth in becoming familiar with
college life.
